It has been almost 45 years since his death, but his music lives on and still gives listerners thrills and chills. "The Very Best of Nat King Cole" is a wonderful collection of songs by the versatile, satin-voiced Nat King Cole, who carved out a place in history for himself as one of the very first cross-over pop vocalists of color. A great range of songs is featured in this collection, including Unforgettable, Sweet Lorraine, Stardust, Nature Boy, Mona Lisa, L-O-V-E, and many more.This collection doesn't have everything, but it has enough of a cross-section of hits to please most Cole fans and introduce him properly to new audiences.
im only 19 but since music is dead i constntley search for good music in evry category an i found this an hes now one of my fav voices to listen to you really cant find stuff like this anymore
Some of my personal highlights include Nature Boy, Unforgettable, Sweet Loraine, and L-O-V-E (multi-lingual version). Seriously. This is a must-have for any collection of classic music. The mellow and inspiring sounds of NKC's music can literally turn your rough, less-than-ideal day around.
